DabaRix Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Elentor Inc., a Delaware, USA company ("Elentor", "we", "us"), and they govern your use of DabaRix, including the website at dabarix.com, the app at bible.dabarix.com, and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Questions: support@dabarix.com.
In short: DabaRix helps you study Scripture and prepare sermons. AI can make mistakes, so you are responsible for checking what you teach and publish. Keep your login private, use the Service lawfully, and pay for the plan you choose. How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use DabaRix
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or guardian. If you use DabaRix on behalf of a church, ministry or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
2. Your account
- Give us accurate information, and confirm your email address when asked.
- Keep your password and sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account, so tell us promptly at support@dabarix.com if you think it has been accessed without your permission.
- Do not share your account with other people or sell or transfer it.
3. The Service
DabaRix provides Bible reading and study tools, AI-assisted study and sermon preparation features, and related services in many languages. We work to keep the Service available and useful, but we may add, change or remove features, and the Service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may limit how much of some features you can use (for example the number of daily AI requests, or the minutes of Live Mentor voice time included with your plan).
4. Plans, payments and renewals
- DabaRix has a Free plan and paid plans (currently Pro and Ministry). What each plan includes and what it costs is shown on our website and at checkout, and may change over time.
- Paid plans run for the period you choose at checkout. Where a plan renews automatically, we will say so at checkout, and you can cancel before the next renewal to stop future charges.
- Payments are processed by our billing service, Elentor Billing Core, and its payment partners. We do not store your card number. If you pay by bank transfer or cash, your plan is activated after our team confirms your payment.
- Prices are shown before tax unless stated. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.
- If we change the price of a plan, the change applies from your next billing period and we will tell you beforehand.
- Except where the law requires otherwise or we say otherwise at checkout, payments are non-refundable. If you think you were charged in error, contact us at support@dabarix.com and we will look into it.
- We may at our discretion give some accounts a plan at no charge (for example a gifted or special account). We may end a gifted plan at its stated expiry date.
5. AI features: please read this carefully
- AI can be wrong. AI-generated text, including sermon outlines, interlinear and word studies, translation comparisons, historical context, maps, devotionals and answers from the Mentor, can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or biased. It is a study aid, not an authority.
- You are responsible for what you use. Check AI output against Scripture and reliable sources before you teach, preach, publish or rely on it. Scripture wording in the app comes from published Bible texts, not from AI.
- Not professional advice. The Service does not provide pastoral, counselling, legal, medical, financial or mental-health advice. Do not use it as a substitute for qualified help, and in an emergency contact local emergency services.
- Outputs may not be unique. AI may produce similar or identical output for different users, and we cannot promise that output is free of third-party rights. You are responsible for properly attributing sources and quotations in what you publish.
- Third-party providers. To generate AI output we send what you enter to AI providers, as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not enter confidential counselling details or other people's private information.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create or upload in DabaRix, such as sermon drafts, notes, highlights and the text you enter into AI tools ("Your Content"). You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, display and transmit Your Content, including by sending it to our service providers, only as needed to run and improve the Service for you and to meet our legal obligations. This licence ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for backups kept for a short period and records we must keep by law.
Subject to these Terms and to any third-party rights, you may use the output you receive from the Service for your ministry, teaching and personal study, including to preach and publish. You are responsible for Your Content and for making sure you have the right to use it.
7. Scripture and other third-party content
Bible texts, translations, commentary data and other third-party content in the Service belong to their owners and are provided under their licences, which may limit copying, redistribution and commercial use. Use of such content is for your personal study and ministry use within the Service unless the owner's licence allows more. You must not extract or copy Bible text from the Service in bulk or by automated means.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual-property and privacy rights;
- use the Service to harass, threaten or defame others, or to create or spread hateful, violent, deceptive or sexually explicit material;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts or our systems, or to disrupt, overload or test the security of the Service;
- use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access the Service or to collect its content, except as we expressly allow;
- get around usage limits, plan restrictions or payment requirements;
- copy, resell, sublicense or provide the Service to others as your own product, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows; or
- use the Service to build or train a competing AI product.
9. Our rights
The Service, including its software, design, DabaRix name and logos, and content we create, belongs to Elentor and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership to you. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
10. Third-party services and our partner programme
The Service relies on and may link to services run by others, such as sign-in, hosting, AI, email, payments and Bible text providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their own terms apply to your use of them. Elentor's affiliate and partner programme, if you take part in it, is governed by its own terms.
11. Suspension and ending
You can stop using DabaRix at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by writing to support@dabarix.com. We may suspend or end your access, with notice where reasonably possible, if you break these Terms, if a payment fails or is reversed, if we must do so to protect the Service or other users, or to comply with the law. When your access ends, your right to use the Service stops, and sections that by their nature should continue (including 6, 9, 12, 13, 14 and 15) will continue to apply.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that AI output will be correct. Nothing in the Service guarantees any spiritual, ministry or other outcome.
13. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Elentor and its officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or ministry opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Some places do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Your responsibility to us
You agree to be responsible for claims, losses and costs that arise from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service, to the extent the law allows.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us at support@dabarix.com so we can try to resolve it informally. Subject to any mandatory rights you have where you live, disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we consent to those courts.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will also notify you in the app or by email. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
17. General
These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If a part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.
